Our team at Office was honored to partner with AIGA SF to create and visualize the theme for San Francisco Design Week. As the largest design showcase on the West Coast, SFDW required a visual system that felt socially poignant, inclusive, and distinctly Bay Area. With a focus on community participation, we developed the theme "Start Here," centered on the necessity of taking action today to shape our tomorrow.

The system is anchored by a dynamic mark comprised of patterns, textures, and imagery that pair together in a variety of combinations. This flexible design allows the symbol to easily shift and change to fit the specific needs of smaller events within the conference. Using the library of patterns as a common thread to tie everything together, our team created a broad ecosystem of assets to exhibit and promote the event throughout the city.
